I don't mean hair transplant, I'm not bald. I have hair, but it's short and trust me it hasn't grown in years. Can doctors actually add hair to your own hair surgically so that its just your natural hair for the rest of your life (not extensions)?

No. But if you hair isn't growing, there may be other factors. As long as your aren't frying it with hair color and irons, I would go see a doctor to make sure that something else isn't wrong.
