For YAPpers living in the Philippines: Would you please help me on this?

I got a friend who works as a scrub nurse in Europe and wants to visit Philippines and wants to learn more about and assist on hair restoration by the latest technique FUE. My friend is

mostly interested in cutting and cleaning of the follicle. So we've tried to contact a doctor that specializes hair transplant in Manila who might organize course, trainings or meetings.. but the doctor only offers strip grafting and not FUE.. and he charge $2,500 for a training per week.. It's really expensive!

Do you know a clinic or hospital in Manila or especially in Cebu City where we can learn or assist on hair restoration using FUE? Please do help.. Thanks!!!

sorry, but i think there's none. such very specialized field is very rare here. i think you can find some in manila.

people here turn to aloe vera leaves or the "mane %26amp; tail" shampoo for thickier mops! :p

you may contact the philippine medical association .. but i dont think they will give you seminars on if your a non doctor. the doctor makes sense in charging you .. he studied many years to be a doctor ,do you think he will give it at a bargain for a scrub nurse who wants to learn in a week time the craft.. his craft that he studied and mastered for so many years plus the huge amount that went with it?

here you go, dahling...the leading Pinoy doctor in the field of hair restoration. they have branches in Makati and in Davao...sorry none in Cebu...I hope he's not the one charging an arm and a leg. oh, he uses the "plug" treatment...is that the same as FUE (follicular unit extraction)?
