That way there would be no butchering and no scar from donor area. The hair would have to be long at first and then after the transplantation is done you can get it cut however you want it. And you can get unlimited number of grafts.
Why haven't they done that?
Why haven't they thought about transplanting synthetic hair?
possible because the body would reject the fibers? They are not capable of growing roots or growing themselves. And over a short period of time would look like a doll that was kicked around the toy box.
